So is Nicole Eitner, a singer-songwriter of Portuguese-German nationality who lives in Portugal for more than the years she studied in Alemaha.

Pianist, author, composer and vocalist, her first album, in her own name - Vampires - released in 2007, features Viviena Tupikova on the violin and Zeca Neves on the double bass, and was presented at the Naked Festival at Santiago O Alquimista.

In 2009 Nicole shared the stage with Suzanne Vega in Sintra and participated in the SXSW Festival in Texas, where she won the 1st prize to record at Elvis Presley's iconic Sun Studios in Memphis.

In 2011, Nicole releases the second album, 'I Am You', and performs the first part of the tour of Joan As Police Woman in Portugal. That same year, he won the Midem Off Showcase Competition and went to Cannes. With the song 'Witness of Your Life', won the International SongDoor Songwriting Competition (USA) in the category 'Pop Songs', and was semi finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest 2012.

Finally, "Fade to Shade", the third album by Nicole Eitner and The Citizens, is an album that reflects an aesthetic evolution compared to previous records. The result is environments full of romance and mystery, restlessness and sharpness. Like the nuances of a black and white movie.
