The first anniversary of MAR Shopping Algarve is going to be full of life... and music! To celebrate the date, MAR Shopping invited HMB to bring their soul and funk to the Algarve. The performance will be held on te 26th of October at 9:00pm at the exterior area, near the Leisure Park.

The capacity is limited so you should guarantee your place in the first row, pass by the information desk and get your wristband to access the show.

Fela Day | Celebrating Fela Kuti Music & Life

On October 13, at 8:00 p.m., a Fábrica Braço de Prata (Silver Arm Factory) will join Fela Day for the first time, a worldwide celebration honoring Fela Kuti , the most vibrant anti-power voice of African music . The son of an influential Protestant pastor, founder of several student unions and teachers, and a mother activist of the anti-colonial and feminist movements, he was contaminated early on by the idea of insubordination. The passage through the US crossed paths with the Black Power movement, the political message of Malcolm X and jazz. Saraka are a colorful group of musicians and multi-instrumentalists from the German, French and Italian parts of Switzerland and sing in Portuguese or Spanish. They have committed themselves to the Latin American grooves that go from Son to Cumbia , but they go even further: they draw with them grooves from the African continent and with it a "fun" song. That's what they like, and that's how they think music should be, a way to make people happy, dance and jump late into the night. I want to sing your "songs" … Disarming, direct, powerful and cinematic - a passionate fusion of pop, modern classic and a touch of jazz. Simple signs of a passion for life that are in a sweet and daring voice translated into audacious songs sprinkled with mystery.
